The German Open tennis championships, 16-24 July 2011

3-Blue: official marketing partner for the German Open 3-Blue were proud partners of the 2011 German Open in Hamburg, and saw over 80,000 people attend this international event. The event has been running for over 100 years on the European ATP tour and now has the former Wimbledon champion Michael Stich as its Tournament director. 3-Blue were delighted with the results and our clients such as K-swiss, and the Spanish tourist board (amongst others) achieved exceptional value with the marketing packages we provided them.

Our clients had commercials broadcast across the entire venue, from VIP plasma screens, through to a huge video wall in the 'village area' and also on to center court, where they were broadcast on two huge LED video walls across both sides of the stadium. We are very pleased to be working with the event organisers again next year and are excited to strengthen our partnership long into the future.

The Dallas Auto Show

We reached over 300,000 people with our clients' messages.

The strategic location of our screen as shown below enabled us to reach all the attendees as they came into the building, and coming up from the escalators. They all passed our screen, and as there were often long queues we had a captive audience creating a greater impression for our clients' commercials over the 4 days of the show!

Dallas Auto Show, 2011

Once inside the Dallas Convention Center we had further plasma screen advertising to keep our clients' commercials in the minds of their audience.

Allianz Swiss Open ATP World Tennis tour, Gstaad, Switzerland

Allianz Swiss Open APT World Tennis tour From the 24th July up to national Switzerland day on the 1st of August. Thousands of people will be at the 95th Gstaad open, with previous winners including; Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, and Roger Federer. On the final day of the tournament the event organisers will also have a formula 1 car from Renault, as well as a flying display from the Swiss air force passing over head! The town of Gstaad itself is an exclusive world famous resort for VIPs, celebrities, and the wealthy, with past residents including; Roger Moore, Michael Jackson Margaret Thatcher, Queen Sofia, Elizabeth Taylor and Princess Diana. We had a Video wall and plasma screens in the VIP areas of the tournament, and our clients recieved great exposure to a very exclusive audience. We worked on this event with our partners Creative Media.

These events have passion and excitement. When a client promotes themselves on a huge video screen (such as Adidas at the Berlin Marathon) they reach an active audience, people who have got up and gone to the event. Not someone at home, who is sitting in the chair watching a commercial on a TV, or seeing it in a newspaper (where they can so easily turn the page).

This makes them more alert to the advertising. A giant video wall creates a huge impact to the consumer in these environments, likewise, receiving a message direct to their phone, whilst they're at the event, has so much more personal impact on the consumer than just sitting at home, receiving standard commercial or print advertising. At these global events people often spend much of their time watching the big screens, as it shows much more than what they could see otherwise. This is gives our clients a captive audience they can reach directly with their message.

We work at any kind of event, such as music festivals, sports, and the arts. Contact us and see what we can do for you.
